About the Artist

Jamie N. Miller, creating under the moniker JNM Fine Art, is a Gettysburg, Pennsylvania-based painter known for her expressive, deeply personal works in heavy-body acrylic. After a decades-long career as a paralegal, Jamie returned to her childhood roots in the visual arts, trading the conference room for the canvas to pursue a resilient, lifelong calling.

Working primarily on canvas, Jamie's studio practice is deeply rooted in personal narrative and the beauty of the natural world. Much of her inspiration is drawn directly from her daughter—transforming shared moments and special requests into tactile, emotive paintings. By blending organic motifs with these intimate family connections, her work serves as a vibrant bridge between memory and the present.

While largely self-taught, Jamie's technique is informed by an enduring admiration for masters across painting, sculpture, and photography. Signing her pieces simply as JNM, she enters her retirement years fully dedicated to her craft in Gettysburg, proving that the drive to create is a lifelong journey.
